I don’t believe there is anything called “destiny”, where everything about you is already planned and playing out like a movie and all you need to do is sit back and watch. If indeed there is anything like that, I don’t want to have anything to do with it.
I believe I create my own life as I go, with my mind, actions and choices I make everyday. Wherever I am now in my life is as a result of the choices I made in the past. It will be therefore unwise to blame some “destiny” for my loss of job when I chose to be late to work always.
Yes, some things (the weather, people’s behavior, disasters) are out of my control. But, I have a major role to play in my life, and if I don’t do that, I have no one to blame but myself.
This is what separates achievers from losers. When will the average African realize that his/her life is in his hands? When will we stop blaming God or some demons or even “destiny” for our own actions and inactions?
From today, I choose to be responsible for my life, so help me God!
I have made my decision. Are you ready to do so too, today?
Have A “RESPONSIBLE” Week!
